i don't know man...love them or hate them, they've been making music for a really long time now.  its a pretty big insult to have your set cut in half, most likely for some other artist who was actually being a real diva.  also with a band that big, for them to even play a show like that there is probably something in their contract that makes sure that shit like that doesn't happen.  

anyway, i thought it was funny and not entirely out of line.  its not like they cut their set short and stormed off over some trivial shit.  they were pissed that they couldn't play more.

What is it about then? Are people worried he hurt the stage, or that he no longer will be able to play guitar? He ranted and made a scene, it was pure theatrics. Its not like he refused to get on or off stage because of the issue. He played a set, and when the set was essentially over anyway he smashed his guitar said why he was pissed, and walked off, he still completely fulfilled his part of the agreement, played the show for the audience, and left them with something to talk about the next day.
