LE Holiday
« on: October 05, 2012, 02:53:37 PM »
LEs got some new product for the Holiday season and its actually looking pretty tight.  Big improvement on LE's graphic game.

I really like those. Anyone ridden LE boards? How's the concave? Deep - mellow?

Basically like a Sk8mafia board, the 8.0 have a little concave, you really only feel it on nollie heels. The 8.19 and above are mellow, the perfect mellow in my opinion almost on par with toy machines. I suggest buying the bigger sizes. Woods actually not bad at alll

Agreed. These may be better than some of their other stuff, but they are by no means "good."

LE boards are junk.  Save your money and spend it on a better deck with a better graphic

They look better because they knocked off sesame street's characters. That isn't "better" in my opinion. How many more coca cola knock off decks do we need out there? Or beer logos, or cartoon characters etc.? There are so few companies out there doing anything halfway original.

boards are super good, i had the butterfly nick trapasso one. Lasted me till i was over it, still had some pop, just got old. It didnt chip easy or anything.
The concave was good, it wasnt super flat like some people (nick trapasso said it was flat in some interview) say. I thought it was just the right amount really. The nose is a little on the pointy side (8.25) but i noticed some graphics have a rounder nose like Toy Machine's (which i love).

So, i loved the board. But i do see where some people find this LE stuff tacky. But really its some good skaters doing what they want. So whatever they will grow into their own.

J. Strickland: "Our company is failing miserably! What should we do?"

Trapasso: "Chill, brah! I got it covered!"

J. Strickland: "What is your plan!?? This is a serious situation, we don't have time for any bullshit right now, Nick!"

Trapasso: "Like, Um......... Bert and Ernie board graphix, fool! I had a vision! ESSENTIAL!"

Will absolutely never be into this company, but those graphics are roughly 1000x better.

I endorse this post. Funny part is that 1000x better for this company is still terrible. Give your money to Magenta, Raw, Hopps Etc.......

I saw multiple LE shirts on the racks at Buffalo Exchange today. I doubt this company will stick around much longer.
