I have always loved Wennings skateboarding and trick selection. He shaped the way I skate and the obstacles I skate. It made me very sad when I saw him in the periods of not skating and making angry interviews, I even got angry cause I really just wanted him to skate and keep doing what he did. But as DirtMaKirk points out, he wasn't in his right mind when those things occurred. When Lockdown started I got super stoked cause he was away from Selfish and might make something good out of it - and I actually do like the graphics and think they are more personal than many other companies right now. I wrote the guys at Lockdown if they had any distribution in Europe, since I really wanted a Wenning deck for the wall. They had this Jersey inspired one from the Wonder Bar in NJ, and they replied right back that they could easily send one to Europe and they were there with Brian right now and if I wanted him to sign it before they shipped it. Thats a stand up thing to do!



I really want Brian to make it, and he seems like a cool dude once all this Selfish crap is over. Its seems like he is out skating again on the regular. Skateboarding doesn't owe anybody anything, but I would just love to keep seeing some bs nosegrinds pop out and ss bs tails, I hope Lockdown makes it. Sorry about the long reply, guess I got a little carried away haha!
