How awkward is it to try so hard to be funny & NOT really be funny?
you should see me after a few beers, when i'm unstoppable.

the sideways Z made me regret an ink Z, thus changing everything except that I was never going to buy any because I am not white, let's not even talk about what would happen when I play horse on a basketball court

Looks like New Balance made an intelligent move. Tyler Surrey could finally be getting hooked up post eS.

I don't see them as UGLY as everyone said, yes, the janoskis ripoff are bad, the other ones are OK.
and I couldn't care less about the "N", it doesn't look bad, its just the brand logo and isn't a fucking huge banner type-shit on the side

come on...

get over it

I'd buy them if it was possible to cut the N out somehow, or if they would just make some with a smaller N in the back or something

Their WAY to overpriced. I'm not spending 90$ on a shoe that dosen't look good or skate well.

No, i guess i shouldve said they dont look like theyd be good to skate in. The sole pattern and material on most of the toes of the shoes look bad.

Thank you pro skateboarders for dissappointing me even more than I ever thought possible (Not that my disappointment will matter to the individuals being paid by this corporation, but it's a point worth mentioning).
The professionals are to blame for the way skateboarding is these days, with the corporations taking over/ putting the smaller S.O business out of business. It is their willing acceptance of companies like Nike, New fucking ballance and Addidas, and promotion of these brands that "lets" the corporations into skateboarding more. Of course kids are going to buy shit like this if they see their favourite pro wearing the brand, even if it is someone like New Balance trying to get it while its hot.
Fuck I hope skateboarding DIES again, it's long overdue a good solid dip in popularity.

P.S

Granted Nike et al give alot of talented skateboarders alot of lovely green money, and there are certain "rewards" in a way for all of us, with the likes of Nike's technology, travel and video budget producing great videos, but all of these positives still just seem like one step forward, two steps back for skateboard culture.

I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

oh god shut up, no one owns skateboarding, nike can't take it from you and skating isn't some secret exclusive club

Supra brand positioning 101: stupid people equate price with quality and exclusivity, which is why you get kids risking 5 years in jail to steal ?5 Nikes from Foot Locker very time there's a riot.
