Are the Chicago Dunks ever releasing in the states? Have been skating strictly vulc shoes for the last 10 years and I think I'm ready to try to get some Dunks again. Granted, my chances of getting a pair of these are slim to none.

Yes! Check your local for drop dates, raffles, etc.

Early drop at uprise, due to them being in Chicago. Others shops will probably drop them in a week or two after.

The back heel part is growing on me, but I still wish it was white with just the tan black instead of both

I'm on your side here - I don't want Grateful Dead Blazers, I want all suede black Dunks with a white swoosh. The Blazers all look good, and I can't wear any of them due to my mangled feet.

I'm not a huge SB fan, but the Dunk Mids were some of my favorite shoes I've ever had. My last pair was in 2012 and haven't been able to snag them since. I've entered every raffle I can (in-person/online) with no luck. I refuse to pay eBay prices.

Weird colorways aside from black beauty.  There was a white/blue colorway this year and there’s been a blue gold one before.  The only difference is the heel section, but that doesn’t seem a significant enough change

I for the most part stay away from Nike but I really really want those Chicago Dunks or just any simple colorway (all black preferably) which isnt going to happen. Such a shame

Maybe it's a dumb question, but, I haven't had Dunks in a looooooong time - like going back to when Shimizu was rocking them(maybe longer). Is the only way to get them nowadays through contest/raffles or something? To be honest I didn't even really know they kept making them; I thought it was just blazers nowadays.

You can find them on some websites if you are lucky, skatewarehouse puts extra stock online - that's where I got the Oski shark dunks. Most shops sell out so fast that they don't even bother with that and just raffle off what little stock they have so that locals can have a chance at 'em.
