Even the first orange label stuff was sold at fucking caliroots(sneakers, streetwear, "hype", not a skateshop in any kind of way.) in sweden/europe.

Caliroots used to have a skateshop in the basement, I guess they detached that as a separate entity at some point. And of course now they are owned by some fashion corp.

They got into skateboarding to sell  nike sb. The previous owners and bosses, the founders, were absolute trash people, I know, they bought the skateshop I worked at and ran it to the ground to open their own store, which closed in less than two years and a year maybe later they sold the company.

Sure, they also have ties to the swedish dist of ace, primitive, tum yeto, sole tech and more, which is also ran by a kook.

Looks like they slapped the GT Pro Blazer sole on that Koston Blazer Mid and added a cutout swoosh  in the heel of the sole.  If that's the case, no React snd traditional Zoom Air insole are expected.

The hiking ones look so sick but I dunno if I could skate in something that looks like it would get swampy with all the fuzzy interior lining. Hopefully they’ll make a similar colorway for some regular mids.

Has any of the marketing for this shoe (premium or regular) said anything about it being vegan? I'm not vegan but I always think it's a missed opportunity when a company makes a canvas shoe but then adds a leather patch or logo. Who do they think is mostly in the market for canvas shoes?

Guessing the canvas is more for the pricepoint than it is for any ethical marketing. Any sort of ethics stuff in the shoe components is pretty limited for Nike. They made a big deal about the recycled leather for one Dunk and never did it again. Same with the flyleather Janoski. One season and it was over.
