I'm foreseeing a big issue with these ebay dunks of the top edge of clear part of the collar digging into the ankle or something. Does not look comfy

the cycle repeats itself again. eventually dunk color ways will become to more insane and unobtainable. Everyone will got back to wearing blazers for a while, until the dunk trend resets itself.

I think there will be plenty of sb heads who would go crazy for this since these are a homage to the ebay dunks that were chopped up and auctioned off for charity

This is already happening. The last 4-5 months at the shop we've seen less and less interest in Dunk drops (probably because the resale value has dropped) and end up with random sizes left over and hitting the shelf after FCFS. Before people would just take whatever size was left. "Yeah okay I'll take the 4.5s."

Meanwhile we're selling several pairs of Blazers a day.

We are in a similar boat. People still want dunks to wear but the heavy train has slowed way down.

I think what’s happening is people are wearing dunks, and people are skating blazers. I know I am. I love skating dunks but considering how hard they are to get I just keep the few I’m able to grab as chillers and then skate blazers when I’m skating Nike shoes.

I think if Nike made generic dunks that came out continuously with repeated colors then people would be skating them

theyre doing a low top version of these too. which i felt like was a bummer bc they recently did the gt in a white/green colorway. this is just a bit of a darker green, and leather as opposed to suede on the front part of the shoe

I’m guessing those are part of some limited pack and not an actual full rebuild of the blazer.

I do like the round laces and the toe box on those. They’d be great if the area around the lace eyelets wasn’t extended like that.

I doubt they’d fuck up their best shoe. I’m guessing this is replacing the patchwork blazer that had so many colorways

They’re called Blue Ribbon SB or BRSb I believe. BR is Nikes original name

these are nice, i like the switch up on the details ie one blue swoosh in back and one red stitched and then the red ramen on the side with the blue on the end of the tongue/forefoot, and the white over blue sole is fresh. this all might be because of the nice background but it feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the other releases
