Are the Chicago Dunks ever releasing in the states? Have been skating strictly vulc shoes for the last 10 years and I think I'm ready to try to get some Dunks again. Granted, my chances of getting a pair of these are slim to none.

Yes! Check your local for drop dates, raffles, etc.

Early drop at uprise, due to them being in Chicago. Others shops will probably drop them in a week or two after.

Im confused by how they made the GT terrible now. is the fit bad because its thinner around the collar and makes the fit not as snug, or does that sticthed collar dig into the ankle??? Either way you shouldnt have fucked with the fit

The heel area has less, and stiffer material (more stiff bcuz of canvas and less cush). Its like some Vans shoes. Fit is argubly worse, duo to the fact that theres less cush to conform to your ancle.

Only one specific GT is bad - the green one with that back half canvas.   Avoid those and you should be fine

Only one specific GT is bad - the green one with that back half canvas.   Avoid those and you should be fine

with the gt's the shoe goes floppier, the toe height is different, there is less stitching and reinforcement on the ollie area. they made the shoe to to shit faster. thats wh ythe recent gt's have the higher foxing to stiffen it up.

would be nice if they could just make the exact same Gt blazer but with the higher foxing tape like on the Pro that was just released. but without that canvas / no padding . I just want the flick to last longer on them. Regular blazers are such a fucking bitch to get on that I forgot thats why I was skating the GT's all the time. but the GT's just die too quick.

If you haven’t tried them and dig the look the gts return is actually a great shoe. It might even be a contender for my favourite sb of all time.

If you haven’t tried them and dig the look the gts return is actually a great shoe. It might even be a contender for my favourite sb of all time.

It is definitely a good shoe. I bought a pair on a whim and wasn't totally sold on them, but once broken in, they feel terrific. And honestly, the break in doesn't take that long. The mesh vamp is sturdier than you'd think.
