the flyleather stuff is only like 20% recycled leather, 80% new leather so they're not really vegan whatsoever.
These "e-dunks" however do appear to be vegan. That darker material is actually recycled rubber, not flyleather.

If it was 100% post-consumer recycled leather, i think i could get behind it, as a vegan.
Lakai tried doing the “recycled” leather thing a few years ago where they used leftover production scraps, but the colorways were butt-ugly and still it wasn’t 100% recycled, and 0% post-consumer.

I've had a pair of the E model in hand and they really aren't as thin as they look.

The seems in photos just make it look thinner, it's just as padded as any other SB dunk.

On foot, don’t feel any of the pain or discomfort others mentioned on the low, however I could see the (for lack of better word) tubing around the foot hole be a little annoying at first. Only real complaint is sole feels a little stiff and maybe could benefit from a different insole

Those green Shane's are the first colorway that is actually tempting me to get a pair and I don't skate vulcs much anymore. Damn! Those and the baby powder blue ones actually look good for the Shane's. Every other color has been boring to me.
