Your a fucking moron. That is the lamest rumor to ever happen. Kerry didnt even skate the fucking courthouse last time he was in town. Durham cops are just cracking down there. There is a 911 call center directly below the second bench.

There's Victorville Highschool. It has the 19 Bryan Herman 50 50 for his last trick in This is Skateboarding. Then there's a 12 after that. I

They've appeared in videos since the 80's.

That is my absolute favorite skate spot ever. I've gone to Baton Rouge just to skate that thing for like 15 minutes, and its always worth it.

it's a cool spot. the up bank has some of those speed controlling lines dug in it, so it sounds like bricks when you roll on it. also a few people including guru have skated it like an up ledge.

is there enough runup to hit the top of that thing?

I remember skating it forever ago but don't really remember the setup. Is that downtown by all the fountains and red brick stair sets?

There arn't many spots here.

This is probably the most famouse. Kenny Reed 360 flipped it and Matt Rodriguez nose blunted it (i think it was that tRiCk) in Closure.

Its pretty scary to even just do a proper ollie on it, even though it looks pretty easy. I know the spot looks pretty crappy.

I know some cats that can get really really high, but I've never seen anyone actually scrape... there's one run up that's pretty lengthy on the section of the wall pictured, but even with that, getting up really high isn't easy. It's one of those trannies that you can easily run into if you miss your timing with a pump (if that makes sense). I did hear that Neil Blender got into the top bricks back in either '87 or '88 by rolling straight up and back to fakie.

You got it, man... it's right in the middle of downtown... the fountains are a few blocks away in one direction, Centroplex is a few blocks away in another direction, and a bunch of new downtown government buildings are in another direction (basically the remaining direction puts you in the river). Downtown BR is still really good... some businesses are trying to make it popular at night, but after 6pm it's empty. It's like whoever's skating in it owns it.

Karma grinded the top back in 94 or so.  there was a photo in Big Brother...how he got speed?  that will forever remain a mystery...
