No, but it is certainly a very interesting and fun idea!
I'm going to have to pick something now..
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

every once in awhile ill get into a little spurt of recreating lines. most frequently from the walker part below. i have it on my phone so when im skating a park and feeling uninspired i watch it and start trying the first thing that gets me hyped

when i saw that daewon thing for the first time, when it came out, I was SUPER psyched.  he even made some of the tricks look kind of sketchy like they did in the orig. line.  probably one of the coolest things Ive seen in a skate video...

This thread makes me happy, I love skate nerd shit like this. I'm definitely gonna start doing less impressive versions of some of my favorite lines at my local park now.

So much for creativity when you try a replicate a line. I mean isnt creativity the basis of skateboarding?

Yeah but we all have to borrow from somewhere. Especially when you are younger, you can't help imitating people you think are awesome. For me it was Rick Mccrank. I had a spot with three stair sets in a row(5-4-4, much smaller obviously), and when I was first learning to skate stairs I would do Ollie, 180, and then switch ollie like he does at the beginning of his yeah right part. There are others but that is the one that comes to mind.
"I'm regular, but I identify as switch backside."

I don't mean recreating a line and putting it in a video part or anything. I meant just trying it for fun. Kind of like learning a guitar solo note for note. You can pick up new techniques and ideas during the process.

Seamus_McShamebag: I do grab my balls, sir.
steamedRice: Do you grab your balls at us, sir?
Seamus_McShamebag(to bakedRice): Is the law of our side if I say ay?
bakedRice: No.
Seamus_McShamebag: No, sir, I do not grab my balls at you sir; but I grab my balls, sir.
bakedRice: Do you quarrel, sir?
steamedRice: Quarrel, sir? No, sir.
Seamus_McShamebag: If you do, sir, I am for you: I serve as good a man as you.
steamedRice: No better.
Seamus_McShamebag: Well, sir.
bakedRice: (to Seamus_McShamebag) Say 'better'; here comes one of my master's kinsmen.
Seamus_McShamebag: Yes, better, sir.
steamedRice; You lie.
Seamus_McShamebag: Draw, if you be men! bakedRice, remember thy swashing teabag.

Step off dude it's fun and interesting you trying to say you've never saw something in a skate video and instantly wanted to do the same?. You must be the most boring person ever.

Sorry if that's not Love. I probably just assumed it was because the architecture is similar?
