1 How did the trick "pop-shuvit" earn it's name?

2 How did the trick "hardflip" earn it's name?

3 Who was the first to do a "forward flip/dolphin flip"?

1.pop shuv could be any one from natas to carroll to lotti to hensely. there is no answer to that question.

2.virtual reality days, people got sick of explaining a nollie backside varial flip, so came the name hardflip

3. the dolphin flip was first called the porpus dive it was invented by either de la cruz or chris fissle

matt hensley named it when brian lotti invented it , lotti was from vegas and big spin is a gambling term or game, something on the lines of that, i think.

fakie crook? probablly henry sanchez in some old video before tim and henry's pol came out.

Tony and Eric explained why the hard flip was called hard flip in one of Tony Hawks trick tip videos.

pretty sure it's an h-street video, and i think it was hensly.  it was several years before koston or peterka did the first one forward, and the trick got its name.  it's odd.  it reminds of that clip of natas fakie ollieing out of a hurricane in the on video.  it was left on the cutting room floor, and it was a few years before people started popping out of ledge tricks like that.

Big Spin was the name of a popular lottery at the time, and Lotti's name sounded somewhat like 'lottery', so the trick was named the bigspin.
