I loved it. For those who didn't, oh well. Magenta has their niche and they're sticking with it.

Valls on point again.   Never know what that guy will do next in a line

A powerslide, or a variation of a similar theme?

Everyone gets tired of seeing the same "creative" trick after 2-3 times of it being done, but when its a nollie heel, or a bs smith, or whatever, theyre willing to to watch it millions of times in hundreds of different peoples videos. Its just fucking stupid to me, what makes for example a 1 footed bs 180 powerslide any less/different a trick then any other flatground trick? People just always hate what they don't understand.

a lot of people reading far too much into what person is wearing what pants.

this part is fun and makes you want to ride your skateboard really fast.

Hey there,

I don't open Chaz Ortiz threads because I know exactly what to expect of that kind of portrait of skateboarding: It's just not my cup of tea.

Magenta...? Yes it is.

Is one approach better than the other? Of course NO.

As b.v. put it - it's not debatable, it's a matter of taste.

I love Brussels Sprouts but I can't pretend to push 'em down the throats of my French Fries loving friends.

So let's all get stoked on whatever works for each one of us and support what really moves us.

Better doesn't have to be one step more or sliding an extra foot. It can be taking a trick to something you've never done it on, or doing stuff you aren't comfortable with in a line. Just because these guys aren't forwarding the "sport" of skateboarding doesn't mean they aren't necessarily skating for the same reasons that you are. That last trick was a perfect example... I can nollie flip but I could never do it at 20 mph.

Sometimes you kind of forget that videos put out from board companies are trying to sell product. Its super obvious but sometimes that links sorts lost and you just get psyched on the skater and the trick. But this clip really makes me wanna buy a magenta board and back the team like I was 15 again. I also wanna skate super bad. 2013 looks like a good year so far, heaps of catching up to do from 2012 which was embarrassing.

As already said, different things get people hyped, and that is okay. I like this too but you don't have to be a street league fan or an idiot to enjoy to see some flip tricks and some hard tricks? I would give props to the filmer cause a line with 4 ollies wouldn't look that cool if it wasn't filmed/edited good... In my opinion Polar is doing almost the same thing, they're just doing it a little bit better (skating-wise).
P.S This isn't ground breaking at all haha, would say it's super mainstream to this time of skateboarding

man i feel like a shill. but i guess i am...
al lot of the OPEN guys could go to Magenta..
and you guys can / could / should buy Magenta boards. love Magenta..
Magenta boards are made in Mexico.. Open boards are made by Pennswood.. outside of Pittburgh.. they employ some if not all the Panza bros.. so.. well magenta is legit.. Open boards are ACTUALLY MADE in the North East.. and we're hyped on it. costs us more. but we love it... think our boards are actually better.. just saying. .. try an Magenta board.. if you have some cash try an Open board... cause were out there..

Are these guys fucking up your sales or jocking your image, Panda? I see what you're saying in this post...

Not sure, but I've heard that Traffic still does really well in other parts of the world and maybe that is what keeps Masaki Ui on Traffic.

Masaki is now flow for Magenta.
