Damn, that sounds way fun. They do the big record exchange only once a year here. It'd be nice to see what OC has to offer.

been loving this thread, decided to join the fun and post my finds!
been buying vinyl for a little over a year now and am getting pretty obsessed, have around 100 so far and it grows every week
I try to budget myself and take time when looking to find the diamonds in the rough!
found this yesterday for $12

Picked up the Metal Blade sampler from a church thrift for $0.50.

Not only was the sampler in there, but also two '84 French Bootlegs of two live Metallica concerts.

Definitely one of my most interesting thrift finds.

I will post some of the other off-beat records I got at that same thrift store later.

Somebody (be it the record label or a fan) taped these photos into the inner sleeve.

For those uninformed, these guys ended up becoming Trans Siberian Orchestra; for the most part that is...

Another precarious $0.50 church thrift purchase.

I don't buy much vinyl these days but I'd really love to find a first press of 20 Jazz Funk Greats by Throbbing Gristle.

Double album release of Deaf School's first two records. One of my favorite bands of all time. Art rock before it was cool. Highly suggested.

I have about 100 LP's, I'd say. A lot of stuff I haven't listened to yet, but Ill try to break some of it down into favorites and new pickups

I own a lot of Jazz Vinyl. Like Chick Corea - Inner Space, Bob James - All Around The Town, Paul Desmond, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Narada Michael Walden, Brook Benton, Jonah Jones, the list goes on and on.

Some of my favorite records I own are probably ones such as
Three Dog Night - Golden Bisquits
Roy Ayers - You Send Me
Duke Ellington - Far East Suite
Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door
Beatles - Abbey Road (Near mint, 1st pressing)
Herb Alpert Presents Sergio Mendes & Brasil 67' (Have like 2 records each of Herb Alpert and Sergio Mendes, great stuff)
Earl Klugh - Living Inside Your Love
And I have a 12" pressing of "8th Wonder" by The Sugar Hill Gang w/ Sugar Hill Groove on the B-Side.

New pickups include a Clapton record and more jazz.

DAMN! There are some must haves coming out this year.
Built to Spill's UAW is going to be prime! Same with Joy Division's An Ideal for Living. I'm quite excited for the Nirvana single, to be honest.
Tame Impala Live, Cake - Box Set, REM - Unplugged, David Lynch and the King Kong set all look like strong contenders.

I'm very surprised at a lot of the reissues this year. MGMT's first two albums are still available in record stores and on ebay --- yet they're already being reissued for RSD? Weird... They'll sell, regardless.

That's a post to my full collection. I'm in the process of selling it all though. Decided to move on from it, as much as I love it. If any of you guys are interested, I'll post a link to my eBay.

I'll be happy if I can get Devo live at Max's Kansas City 1977. Damn April 19 is going to be an expensive day.

Anyone check out record store day today? It was pretty surprising to see everything on sale and bands playing in the store I went in today. Picked up a few but really stoked on this one

Got the tame impala live versions and abba waterloo picture disc. My record store missed a few shipments so they should be getting some stuff I want like the joy division an ideal for living ep and the dino jr. 7" boxset later this week. Will post photos if/when I get those.

RSD haul:

3 of the 4 Death Waltz releases: 1990 Bronx Warriors, The Degradation of Emanuelle, and The Perfume of the lady in Black.
Medical records Alexander Robotnick "vintage Robotnicks"
Cure/Dino JR split 7 inch

skipped the Powerglove "Farcry" soundtrack because it was too expensive; its selling for a pretty penny on ebay, kind of kicking myself
