yeah rented it this morning tons of sick skating, the editing is mad boring though, the music is actually decent just not really what you wanna see in video parts.
But yeah they have a ton of the raw footage after the video so the dvd could actually be remixed to be more interesting

Just watched it. Pretty good. Not blown away though. Rad to hear Yeah Yeah Yeahs again, but overall the music and editing was a let down (but you expect that with Transworls vids nowadays I guess). Remillard, Silas and JD smashed it, but the overall vibe was pretty dull.

Oh...and Julian Davidson has joined L.E it would seem. Shame.

Really Julian on L.E. I just don't see that going down for some reason I might be wrong but I would of pictured him waiting it out another year to go pro for Element
[close]

Maybe I'm wrong, but he's definitely reppin L.E. in some clips and with Trapasso and Tancowny as the guest skaters in his part, I just jumped to a conclusion.

not on L.E. its just homie love

Video is actually pretty good.  Unlike most Transworld videos, there wasn't the usual "skip" part.  But maybe that is just because I enjoy Jimmy Carlin's heelflips.  Music wasn't actually that bad, the parts just were not edited to the songs like in most other videos.  I like the fact that there is some raw footage of Julien and Silas after the credits.

josh matthew's tune is aggressively shitty. bummer cause his part is sick otherwise.

the other songs aren't necessarily bad but they aren't great skate video songs.

skip the fuck outta carlins part the 1st 12 seconds he was already "trying" to be funny next clip was him belly rolling, fuck him and his overly filmed hardflips.

a shame what they did to josh's part...

walker and julian had some good tunes and great footage

wouldnt be a tws video without some shitty music.

Just watched it. Pretty much every part was pretty solid. Music was shit. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Silas should've gotten ender for sure. Julian's part was dope.
Walker's part was rad.
Carlin's part was pretty good, but nothing special.
Tom's part was gnarly.

the video is great.  Will probably end up being one of my all time favorites.  And at first I thought Josh Mathews song was wack but then i smoked a lot of weed and i came to understand the feel he was going for and that part was sick.  Silas is certainly one of the greatest skateboarders to ever walk this earth and walker and josh have to of the best styles on the planet right now.  such a good selection of skateboarders

rumor has it that tom remillard filmed his whole part in one spot...something about a st on washington...rumor has it
[close]
That rumor is wrong.
Yeah, only 90% of it was filmed at Washington St. I did like his part more than I thought I would, though. Really liked the fs board on the oververt.

The gingers had the best parts.

Good overall with some serious tricks being thrown down throughout. Jimmy had my personal favorite part, the guy's impossibles, hardlfips, heelflips and double flips are amazing, plus his part was to starfucker which is a personal favourite of mine. Editing is kinda cheesy at times with a LOT of film burns speed ups and general corny shit like that, which can detract and become annoying. Some of the music also came across as plain/boring for a skate part, but not bad by any means. Also Silas and Julian went in, god damn.

I felt the same on the montage. Usually that has been the bread and butter of Transworld videos but this one seemed sort of bleh.

Not hyped on the music and as much as I love oldies, Papa Was a Rolling Stone seemed sort of odd for Walker Ryan. And yes.....Silas kills. Him and Busenitz should do a shared Adidas part. They both skate fast as fuck.

The Perpetual missions with Julian and Silas was the best thing about the whole video. Man, I love watching raw footage like that. Kinda make me appreciate the tricks they do even more, you know..

"Rawnald Gregory Erickson the Second". They extended the song for what felt like another minute which, for anyone who knows the song, felt unnatural.

I bought the DVD to take with me for a work trip. Agree with much of what's already been posted in this thread. The editing just seemed to meander and was just plain odd to me at times. Music selection I was indifferent on. That said, the skating is top notch all the way through. Silas and Walker are probably my favorite parts, both guys are flat out ridiculous on a skateboard and have unbelievable control.
