Pretty much. Most humans like confident (yet not pretentious) humans around them. Girls are no different. My "tip" is to just be yourself and to be confident about it. If you like something a girl also happens to like... that's good. If not... well... feel free to say so. If you're a funny guy, show it. And don't get too wasted.

Other than that I fucking loathe any of those hook-up strategies and books such as "The Game" (?).
