In like 4th or 5th grade i went over this kid's house with another friend and slept over. Dude was the biggest spoiled rich kid brat ever and his Dad tended to everything he needed. This all ties into me making a fake Myspace about him once as a joke. Pretty sure no one ever found out. Anyway, he's got like 46k likes on this shitty Bruno Mars cover and is posing with Madonna now. Not really jealous as much as i am shocked.

Not confirmed but one chick I went to school with takes some ritzy pictures, says she is a "model". She went all over the world, paying by herself and somehow manages to go to a university. Wasn't smart in high school and she had bad grades probably since she fucked around a lot (Schoolwork and dudes meat swords). I think she is in the entertainment biz doing light porn or something. i was friends with isaac in elementary/jr high and kinda grew apart in high school
dude was super good at every sport, particularly basketball, soccer, and skateboarding
he nollie bs 180 a 12 stair in his first year skating and charged the city's 16 handrail, which was the biggest thing for us ever 8 years ago
he stopped skating to focus more on soccer and played professionally in several mexican clubs,
right now he's in the process to join the USSF

I went to school with Lorne Balfe, who is Hans Zimmer's regular composing partner. I knew him pretty well actually, because we were in the same year and it was a boarding school. He composed the music for Inception, the Dark Knight series and the new Sherlock Holmes movies etc. He also does the music for a lot of games, including COD: Modern Warfare 2.

An older guy who was doing graffiti and skating back in the late 90s became a mainstream raggae artist. He even has some of his songs in the MTV here in my country. A year ago he came skating with us and he was pretty nostalgic about those times. I am too even though i started skating in the early 00s when their scene was declining.

I guess they were coming through town and had a bunch of beer in their trunk and hopped out to ask some people hanging out on the street if they wanted to party. This is pretty surprising to me as they were a devout Christian band if memory serves me right. Who wouldn't have wanted to drink with the writers of "Ocean Avenue" in 2007?

I went to elementary, middle, high school, and college with Luke Babbitt.  He's an American basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA. 
He was like 5'11 in sixth grade.  He was also pretty smart.

I went to college at the same time as the Superbowl starting quarterback for the SF 49ers, Colin Kaepernick.

Talked to him around campus a couple times, really nice dude.


I got my black belt during elementary school with the mother of Shannyn Sossamon, Sherry.  Shannyn went to my same high school about ten years before I did.  She's an actress and played drums for the band Warpaint.  Her most famous movies are probably "40 Days and 40 Nights" and "A Knight's Tale" with the late Heath Ledger.  She was also in that HBO show, "How to Make it in America."  Her mom was not bad looking, either.

Actually this reminds me of a somewhat related story.  I was at the a bar with one my friends and this group of four dudes walked in and were being relatively obnoxious.  They had pretty strong English accents and were playing up the whole snotty Brit gig.  It was kind of weird to see at the particular bar that we were at given it's reputation as being a little bit of a blue collar dive.  As they started getting lit they got really annoying and throwing the anti-'Murica swag.  I went outside to hang out on the balcony and walked back in to find my buddy tossing one of the fuckers down a flight of stairs.  Nothing like seeing a loud mouth Brit in skinny jeans and scarf tumble end over end down the stairs. Apparently some words had been exchanged and my buddy decided to throw down with them but that's all that really came of it and they just kind of scampered off.   

About a week later I was a doctor or dentist appointent sitting in the waiting room and I picked up an issue of Rolling Stone.  I was flipping through the pages and just about shit myself when I saw a picture of the dudes on the inside cover.  I hadn't heard of them at the time but it turns out my buddy had tossed one of the dudes from Kasabian down the stairs.
