I grew up in Dallas and pretty much every backwards redneck that we commisioned to buy us beer by proxy had "partied with Pantera".
[close]
There was rumors going around my school that a few of the students partied with Yellowcard. I guess they were coming through town and had a bunch of beer in their trunk and hopped out to ask some people hanging out on the street if they wanted to party. This is pretty surprising to me as they were a devout Christian band if memory serves me right. Who wouldn't have wanted to drink with the writers of "Ocean Avenue" in 2007?

Actually this reminds me of a somewhat related story.  I was at the a bar with one my friends and this group of four dudes walked in and were being relatively obnoxious.  They had pretty strong English accents and were playing up the whole snotty Brit gig.  It was kind of weird to see at the particular bar that we were at given it's reputation as being a little bit of a blue collar dive.  As they started getting lit they got really annoying and throwing the anti-'Murica swag.  I went outside to hang out on the balcony and walked back in to find my buddy tossing one of the fuckers down a flight of stairs.  Nothing like seeing a loud mouth Brit in skinny jeans and scarf tumble end over end down the stairs. Apparently some words had been exchanged and my buddy decided to throw down with them but that's all that really came of it and they just kind of scampered off.

About a week later I was a doctor or dentist appointent sitting in the waiting room and I picked up an issue of Rolling Stone.  I was flipping through the pages and just about shit myself when I saw a picture of the dudes on the inside cover.  I hadn't heard of them at the time but it turns out my buddy had tossed one of the dudes from Kasabian down the stairs.
Haha, holy fuck. Props to your buddy. Kasabian is a totally shitty band so it's warranted by all means.

I used to fuck this guy's niece.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Shaun White went to my high school sort of and dated a friend of mines sister. That friend and her sister ended up recording music for disney. Also went to school with Riley Hawk. Also, a girl i went to school with was Americas Next Top Model.

Marisa Miller went to my high school and graduated a couple years before me. Strangely enough, I never even knew she was from my area until a couple of years ago.

my first day of school when i moved to vancouver in grade 8 i sat down next to this kid in science class who asked me if i had ever seen weed before, then pulled a nug out during the lecture and ate it. after he told me about how he took out his foster mom's cornea with a paper clip.

i think he dropped out or something a year later, and long story short i saw him on mtv a couple weeks ago as he is now apparently carly rae jepsen's bassist and tours with justin beiber.

i'm glad out of everyone at my school, hes the one that made it.

Little Richie from Family Matters lived on my block growing up from the age of about 8-10. We hung out but he was always kind of a prima donna. I remember when I moved away, I was taking photos with all my friends and I asked him if he wanted to take a photo and he said he would have to ask his publicist. This was a few years after the show ended, I don't think he has really acted since.

Oh yeah, and his Dad owned the department store kids brand No Rules if anyone remembers that. With a quick search, it still exists I guess:

Edit: Said this one on here before in a similar thread but I used to hang out with pornstar Krystal Steel's sister a lot. Was somewhat friends with Krystal (Brandy), used to go to her house to smoke out of her giant bong because that was cool when you are in highschool. Her sister is hotter.

That is amazing! I saw them at a festival once and they were honestly the worst band I've ever heard/seen in my life.

Believe it or not, I went to La Cueva High in Albuquerque with Neil Patrick Harris. We were in Fiddler on the Roof together when I was a junior and he was a senior. People there were really mean to him. He drove a Miata (big surprise) and it was keyed all the time. He was cool as fuck and knew a ton of magic tricks.

And no we never hooked up.

This is maybe the best post in here. I remember watching that video many years ago and the look on my face after watching it was indescribable but maybe somewhere between disgust and amazement. I'm curious what the fuck was going through her head?

How many Doogie jokes did he get?

A shit load. I always felt bad for him because he was teased so hard. He was "dating" this kind-of chunky girl named Abbey Wolf...she was kind of goth...one of those really cool big goth type chicks. Not the gross goth...the hot kind...I guess. Anyway, yeah, he was teased pretty ruthlessly. Always been so stoked on his success.
