Anyone heard of this dude? He did all these home recordings for decades and is still going for it.

I always wondered where that sample ("What is the magic that makes one's eyes sparkle and gleam, light up the skies?  The name of the game is...") came from.  Thank you!

I just now realized she's saying "sparkle and gleam" and not "sparkle and bleed" like I've thought for the last five years.

R. Stevie is great. I'm still partial to Ariel being the king lo-fi savant genius though. He really changed the game for that whole genre of music

Sick! My friend has one of his records. Ariel Pink talks about how R. Stevie Moore inspired him.

I have a R. Stevie Moore CD/Record. As in it's a CD that plays in both a CD player and a record player (it has grooves in it.) Coolest novelty record I own.

RSM and Ariel Pink have an EP called "Klu Klux Glam" which is a super sus name for an EP....probably trying to be "cool" and "edgy" but completely missing the mark.

The "Lightworks" sample comes from a Raymond Scott song, not RSM.

Andddddd ima just say that hype williams are the gods of lofi pop, sorry guys.
