But really though, this is just fueling the fire of gun control. It amazes me that someone thought it would be a good idea to give a 5-year-old a fucking rifle as a gift. He was obviously too young to know what he was doing as he doesn't yet understand the concept of life and death. The parents should be jailed and the children should be placed in a home with more common sense.

Regardless of teaching the boy gun safety, the parents keeping the gun locked and unloaded, and possibly using it for target practice, GUNS ARE WEAPONS and WEAPONS ARE USED TO KILL. a 5 year old child does not understand the concept of death. Fuck, talking about drug overdoses it fast became apparent that most of my high school students don't fully understand the concept of death. By that I mean that they don't have the intellectual capabilities to understand what gone forever means. That's most important part of gun safety, teaching kids about death. this kid has a rough life ahead...
