I'm actually really hyped on this new "low-impact" side of skateboarding.

look how fucking stupid these kids look, hurts me eyes.

I've seen 85 lb. Milan runway models who look better nourished than those dudes.  Someone get those mofos a plate full of sandwiches, and make it quick!

Seriously, when did everyone in this country either get anorexic-level scrawny or fat as fuck?  And, when did guys who are built with the physiques of extended-stay concentration camp victims decide it's a good thing to show off how terrible they look with outfits like those?  Dress how you want, but the crackhead thrift store / army surplus look isn't something that works well at all for most people.

Skateboarding is funny these days.

Swaggy little children.

Down for Kadow. I don't know if the other dudes are just low-impact cool guys or what but there's gotta be a good reason Brian Anderson is backing them.

Logan is rad, and I dont give a fuck about peoples gear, but that kid looks like a vietnamese lesbian living in darfur. Knock it off dude. These photos will haunt you later.

I'm hyped on these homophobes outing themselves because the way a kid dresses bugs them so much.

it just bugs me because they are sponsored for what they wear not how they skate...

Exactly.  Dress however you want.  It's just annoying that you can get somewhere in skateboarding by morphing into a carbon copy of whatever is trendy while being less than average when it comes to actually riding the fucking toy we all value so much.

Anyone who thinks that's being homophobic needs to pull their head out of their ass.

I would 100% back the actual Prince on a skateboard, I feel like his style and trick selection would be on point.

There's a big difference between dudes like Gonz, Busenitz & Puleo choosing to skate low impact stuff with ingenuity and dudes who can barely push putting on a fashion show at a two stair.

Yep. It's not like this attitude is reserved for effeminate Dylan. acolytes. Bullshit is always going to be called when kids get hooked up for superficial reasons, regardless of what particular trend wave they're riding.

"i hate kids who follow trends, now someone point me in the direction of the nearest store that sells dickies, vans, and flannels under one roof so I can get my SLAP-approved skateboard uniform"

zoltan, i get what you're saying but I don't think this is anything new. Companies all have an image they're trying to push so it makes sense when they pick up riders that fit that image. Every company does it.
it's certainly fair to say that it's lame and superficial because that fairly describes the skate industry, which (for the millionth time) doesn't matter nearly as much as the industry wants you to think it does.

i completely understand that, im just baffled at the fact of how bad they are yet Jason Dill and AVE back them so hard. i have homies who are skating with "industry" dudes all the time and they kill it and still aren't properly hooked up. then these kids wear some unique clothes smoke cigs, and do tricks that any kid at your local park could do and are superstars. the skate industry is a joke

If only these kids spent as much time skating as they do in front of the mirror. I think its a race to see who can get the first curling iron sponsor.

Gotta manscape ... it's mandatory.

This. Or they're just jealous because they wanted to be sponsored so bad when they were kids so they spent all night practicing nollie flips in their parents' garage and worked so hard for it, only to have these two badasses come along and they look really cool and get to hangout with pro skateboarders.

Calling someone out for dressing like a fucking kook is not homophobic. People on SLAP always wanna make the biggest deal out of the littlest shit like baggy jeans or wearing hats with the tags still on em, yet yall gon jump to defend THESE niggas? gimme a break. The only reason yall tryna pull the "homophobe" card is because anybody can see that these niggas clearly dress gay as fuck. i wouldnt even care if they were gay, but even still id consider those outfits super-lame. Try-hard skate hipsters are like the new wiggers nowadays.

But the thing is they dont even appear to be all that talented as skateboarders, but it seems as if their "image" is what got them hooked up. Prince dressed like a fucking clown too but he was exceptionally skilled/talented, thats not the case with these guys. They're seemingly mediocre skaters with a try-hard hipster image. Obviously people are gonna have something to say about that.
