Rest in peace... seemed like he would live forever but crazy that he even made it this long.  One of the greats.

Rip to one of the greats.

A generational talent and fucking perfect storm of drug addled genius. I read somewhere that he was once on a multi-day bender in his flat just drinking, smoking, and writing. Nick Cave stops by and notices a pile of wadded up pieces of paper overflowing out of a bin and littering the floor around it. He picks them up and starts reading the songs that didn't make the cut, each one a discarded masterpiece. Can't believe he made it to 65.

Couple favs here. Absolutely shittered in the performance with the Dubliners on what I assume is primetime TV. Spinning Pogues records today and picking up a bottle of whiskey.
