Lurking in this thread quite a lot, so wanted to share something recent I've been involved in. This will actually get an US release on cassette later this year.

yo the remix on this record is awful.  bummed me out so hard.  those two covers are the only good things on it and that isn't even the better one

Friend of the Show but not a friend of Twitching Tongues.

Pretty wild to me that Mark McCoy did the art layout, even tho it probably is his mildest work ever

Cover just sounds like pentagram with worse guitar tone and Colin’s vocals are weak

Haha i fuck with that blurb about push pits so hard. Idk if it's just a socal thing but all the shows i've been to here in the last few years are just all kids push pitting. And those are core shows too. There was more style in the pit in the rural australian town i grew up in.

Nah, I'll be fine, there's a lot of heavy new shit. Worst show of the year so far was Militarie Gun and them, and some really awful other openers I don't remember. I'll take a push pit over that crowd any day.

I liked it. Felt like a nice continuation of California Cursed with a hint of Trapped Under Ice (Reality Unfolds & Stay Cold era) vibes. Wasn't expecting the Decendents cover but it was actually pretty cool.

Yeah, I totally get it. It fills a niche for me since there aren't a ton of current bands, at least that I'm aware of, doing this type of music. I would prefer if they either went more into hardcore skinhead oi, or just did full on Anti Heros tribute style.

I haven’t checked this thread in a minute but I saw The Lousy this week for the second time and I love this band. Punk metal in the vein of maybe Skitsystem or Death Side. Really talented members playing really tight.
