Lakai is on point. The "Fura" is looking amazing.

With Emerica doing what they are doing right now, it just makes Lakai look so bland. And to think that is what I thought of Emerica at the time.

I like that they took the thread around the pico xlk off, that was annoying.
I'm really into all this stuff, most likely never going to wear anything besides Lakai and Emerica for a long while

Lakai is killing it, some of us arent into the whole Emerica aestethic, i like the simpleness of Lakai.

Exactly, the simpleness of what Lakai is doing is for some us exactly what we want. Love Lakai.
...and Emerica, glad they are taking charge of the cupsole uprisal.
But I like a simple vegan vulc, that's comfortable and is still really flexible and decently durable, and Lakai Canvas Manchesters give me all of that.

I respect Emericas out there concepts with their upcoming cupsoles however they are less practical then Lakai's xlk. If we pretend for a minute that skate shoes are evolving and will one day reach a perfect shoe, I think that the Koston One, Mike Mo and all the XLKs are that perfect shoe. A thin, flexable cupsole with a simple shape. The new Wesgates are too hot, vans slip ons are too cold but XLK is juuuuust right.

Love the direction Lakai has been progressing into. Simplicity and straight forward lines in their shoes. I will be in the Howard mids for sure.

will purchase the vincent in navy and griffin in blue. the colorways are getting easier on the eyes for me these days

Emerica has a few really REALLY good hard hitters, while lakai's whole range is pretty consistently killing it. Right now you can pickup a team model for a really good price and know you're getting a good shoe whereas with Emerica you need to go pro to get the super good shit imo.

lakai had a lot of navy/tan colorways which is a good thing. lakai isnt as good as emericas pro model shoes but overall lakai is better.
