Baltimore at night can get pretty sketchy. Baltimore in general can get pretty sketchy.

Although I've never been, I know this to be true from watching John Waters movies.

i just came to post Baltimore.  i lived there for about 4 months (10 years ago).  there were areas where i wouldn't even stop at stop signs because of the sketchy ass thugs standing right on the corner.  also more than once heard gun shots a block or two blocks away and saw people running, had to run a red light and split

Baltimore definitely has the sketchiest areas i've ever seen.

 The dudes that said Barcelona. Havent gone there but two of my friends had their shit stolen in front of their eyes. Many people told me that everyone tries to rob you silently.

 One was sittin at a net cafe with his bag on his chair and he was pressing it with his back. One moment he went to grab something from the bag, after 1 minute he did the same and the bag was gone.

 The other is a photographer and he was there for a skate mission. He got stoned with some friends while sitting on a bench. He had his camera bag between his legs. Somehow it vanished.
