North Carolina coast

My parents moved just outside of jacksonville and im staying with them for a few weeks. I checked out jacksonville park and saw that you had to pay, wear full pads, and skate a mediocre park outside in the summer heat. Anyone from around here know of better skateparks not too far away? Im from california where humidity doesn't exist but im willing to suck it up for a decent park. I know i should google this shit first but the only website i could find with a list of nc parks was last updated in 2011 and i feel like a new park since then could've popped up somewhere around here...

You need to get some East Coast street skating in.

There is a nice park in Raliegh Nc called Marsh Creek. It's a little out of the way but would be worth a day trip. Plus the city is fun to skate in. Fuck all the east coast hate there is plenty of good spots you just have to be more creative. I also heard of a snake run in the outerbanks.
