Politics in skateboarding always amuse me. Anyway, the person that complained about a story in a skateboard magazine is a total douche. Politics in skateboarding always amuse me.

I'm amused, but I also feel terribly sad when I realize that most skaters think they're "politically minded" because they read the front page of Yahoo news once in a while.  It's almost as tragic as when Sean Penn or Matt Damon open their mouths, but at in the skate community they have a lot smaller of an audience base in which to embarrass the living fuck out of themselves.

Most likely true.  People love to find one reason to get offended, all while ignoring the other flawed bullshit that goes on in their lives/homes that's far worse than whatever they're mad about.  That's life, though, and I've had to really struggle to come to grips with the fact that 90% of the people walking around today are borderline regular in how the logic center of their brain works.
