Sun Blossoms - Beach Pop, Lo-Fi
« on: September 07, 2013, 05:45:00 PM »
Hey guys, this is my bedroom project...It's influenced by the summer, hot girls, skating, growing up and bands like Tomorrows Tulips, The Growlers, Triptides, Galaxie 500, The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Here's my demo: https://soundcloud.com/sunblossoms/sets/raw-demos-2013

Tell me what you think of it!

Chord progressions in "Summertime" sounds like a Built to Spill (remember them???) song, "Strange" I believe.  I thought it was very listenable anyways.

I only heard like one song by Built To Spill in my life, I didn't know that one, thanks for pointing it out though. And thanks for the other comment too, I'm just trying to do songs to chill and be happy!

You're definitely on some shit with this one. This is great! Is there anywhere to download some of this stuff?
