shoe help....much appreciated.
« on: December 15, 2006, 06:03:00 PM »
So ive been skating a certain model of vans for a while, looking to try something new. Ive been skating the same model shoe for so long, not too sure what to try out next. Ill tell you what i like, and if you could reccomend a shoe that fits the criteria, that would be great.

i like thin soled, suede shoes. very thin with a grippy sole. Basically it has to be suede and the shoe cannot be thick at all. i dont care about how long they last, as long as they skate well. any suggestions? Ive heard the mj-3 was good, any opinions on that shoe?

do the cheif's have good grip ?

i currently have half-cabs, but i cant find anymore of those here and i must have shoes with good grip.

I've had shoes that gripped better but I thought they were fine. They lasted me a suprisingly long time. I skated them all summer.

I skate old schools and Rowley's and those work fine, but if you're jumping down stuff, especially in old school's, it can be really harsh on the feets. I don't really want to recommend anything else though. Emerica's are good stuff. Try those out.
