Gonna cross post because I just posted this in what I listened to today but it’s so fucking good. After weekend nachos broke up, John started LEDGE, and it’s fucking heavy. If weekend nachos became a sludge band after the released the Bleed ep, this is what it would sound like.

Not typically a very heavy group (aggressive, yeah), but the first half-hour of this performance is doom/sludge at Earth/early Boris levels of slow with a three-way screech fest between Zorn, Eye (Boredoms/Hanatarash) & Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth) and some of the tightest drumming out there (courtesy of all-time favourite Joey Baron). Nasty stuff:

just came across this album released last month. super sick doomy sludge with tasteful reverby filled picking parts

reminds me of a cleaner asunder with some of the slower instrumentals of corrupted(maybe with a hint of maudlin of the well)
