DSLR?

Hey I want to buy start filimng and shooting photos and shit just, and I've seen that a lot of people film on DSLRs and shit. Can anyone recommend a good camera for both shooting camera and filiming?

pretty much any dslr's these days can get the job done.  Canon 60d, 7d, 5d mkii are all solid cameras and canon makes a ton of lenses to choose from.  I've had the 7d for a while and it's worked out well.

 If you're more interested in filming I would recommend looking into the Panasonic GH3.  Haven't used it but its got great features for video... flip out screen, shoots 1080p at 60fps, unlimited continuous recording, higher video bitrate

Canon t2i minimum. Cannon T3i if u want the same camera with a flip screen. Canon 60D if u want a T3i with tougher build and faster burst photography.

7D or if you have the money a 5D mkii

the plus side to the 7D is being able to shoot 9fps sequences
