why is life so pointless

whys life pointless  eh?   this is what i heard....  In life one should not stare at the river\(for too long), for if one does he will see dead bodies.  so what does that mean? just keep it moving and you'll be good, rose colored glasses!! ( but hey if you wanna just wallow for a while i do not blame you lol)

I get that completely. I'm hoping that at some point in my life I'll actually WANT to help others out...for now I kind of grudgingly do it and then I'm like, yay.

the thing with helping others is that it will not improve your personal quality of life. If you want a good life, you have to be a complete asshole towards others (within the system of capitalism; an other concept is the idea of 'karma').
Nonetheless, a wise man lives for something instead of dying for somethiing...
