first video down is an extended trailer of the "phantom pain" thing that was teased a while back

looks like that and the open world metal gear solid is all one game.

They're still claiming them to be two separate games, not one.

I'm just hoping MGS5 does its own thing and not follow gaming conventions that have become annoyingly popular over the last couple of years. I'm looking at you quicktime events.

To anyone who hasnt played MGS4 Guns of the Patriots on ps3 it is a MUST play. its basically like a movie & a game wrapped in one. the gameplay itself is super fun & the storyline/super-long cutscenes are actually very compelling and fun to watch. you almost look forward to beating a level just so you can see the next cutscene. seriously such a good game. throw a silencer on the P90 machine gun & you will stealthily slay all who get in your path.

I really wanna get into Metal Gear Solid but I haven't really played them much before. I remember bits of MGS1 for PS1 but I was a little kid when i played it and I didn't really knew what was going on or how I managed to get through the missions. Will I be lost or is MGS5 and a new story?

:(
The game definitely takes longer than that (about two hours or so) if you take your time and don't try and speed through it.  That being said, I did speedrun it for a couple of hours yesterday and completed it in five minutes and thirty seconds.
it's not fantasizing if it really happened.  your gay as fuck for even thinkin about them havin sex u fagit

most likely.  all the MGS games have (I think) alluded to previous games.  Knowing the characters past and futures makes each game more fun to play.  If I didn't know the who anyone was in MGS 4 I probably would have been able to keep up with the plot but wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.
