Hell yeah! Its pretty nice being a Tigers fan now that they actually compete. It helps having the best hitter in baseball as well as 2 of the top pitchers in the game.

As long as he doesn't end up with Zito like stats he should be fine. I'm pumped we got him for at least 2 years.

Can't wait. I'm hoping for a Dodgers/Tigers World Series this year.

yes, go tigers! although I was raised a mets fan on one side of my family on tigers on the other....the whole bernie madof thing with the mets really made them lose their appeal. It'd be nice to the jays to make some noise too now that the yankee era is officially done

Top 3 son! Handlebar Sanchez is going to have a monster year. I'm pretty excited about the faster, better defensive team. Not to mention they hooked up the bullpen.

By geographical association, my team is the Detroit Tigers

I know mostly fucking nothing about baseball, just the absolute bare minimum understanding of the rules (basically, kickball) but I'm going to try and follow the Tigers on tv for a whole season

Did you hear anything about that Garcia dude banging Prince Fielder's wife? Apparently it was going down and there was an altercation in the locker room where Cabrera was standing up for Prince and re-injured his groin. Not sure if its 100% accurate but still a hell of a story and it makes you wonder. That was allegedly the reason Prince wanted out of Detroit so bad and probably why he sucked so bad last year.

I know I shouldn't get too excited but here's to hoping the Seahawks motivated the M's a little bit. Just hope our pitchers can stay healthy. Should be a good year in Baseballs toughest(arguable) division.

I got my wife in to it, it also helps that my team has won 2 world series in the last 4 years(buuuurn tigers fans...). If you can get passed "wha it's boring" and figure out the rules and the situations it's the best.  I attribute most of my grey hairs to Giants' hitting.

Always ready for hardball. Atlanta looks like the team to beat, unreal pitching staff and arguably the best 3-4-5 in the majors.

Super excited for this season.

Giants, les go.

... i'm going with my Giants every-other-year theory.

Cain bounces back, Hudson ages gracefully, the bats stay healthy, keep the minor leaguers out of the lineup and we are a shoo-in for the West...

especially once Kemp gets hurt and is out for the season, and Puig gets busted for Roids.

I haven't followed baseball less than I did last year.  I only went to 2 games.  1 was too cold and I left, the second was raining and was abandoned.  The White Sox still have a few aging, big money players left that we need to wait out before we can start an actual rebuild.  Chris Sale though.  That dude is the only guy keeping me remotely excited, really fun to watch.  Our big money signing is another WBC winning Cuban, Abreu.

Giants pitching looking solid in spring training especially with Hudson in the mix, hopefully it carries over to the regular season.

'preciate that 30 mil you sent along w/ him. his contract isn't a big deal to a team like the rangers. and daniels will flip him when the declining years come along. we need power bad. a lefty like prince will dominate in our ballpark. as far as playoff performance, well ehh, we'll see i guess, new year, new club, just gotta play it out. i didn't mind the deal, sucked to see playboy kinsler leave but there's no crying in baseball.
