I remember reading an interview with Moses Itkonen years ago where he talked about his nick-name. He and his friends had a skate crew named M.A.S.S. which stood for Mission Association of Serious Skaters", as they were from a town in B.C. called Mission. He had MASS written on his grip with a paint pen, all sloppy, and some older kid saw it and thought it said MOSES and the name stuck.
