Also, for anyone to compare a potential Antuwuaoun comeback to Mariano or Reynolds getting sober is fucking ridiculous. Those two are legends who put their stamp on skating before piling out and coming back. Antuwouan put out a little bit of half-decent footage, got lots of smoke blown up his ass, proceeded to get super high from that smoke, and then go to jail. Why does he deserve yet another chance to disappoint potential sponsors and fuck 15 year old white chicks at demos?

There is no comparison. yes Antwuan came out with a good part for an unknown and had a one of a kind style 10 years ago, but Antwuan is no where near the status of Mariano or Reynolds nor do their stories even compare. He hasn't put any kind of effort to the skating world since then yet he walks around like a seasoned vet.

so spot on with this quote, Reynolds and Mariano were 2 of the first real child stars of skateboarding. And the Reynolds comparison really holds no weight cuz even when he was piled out he was still out getting coverage and progressing, Mariano fell off but was still legend status at the time. Mariano also had his board taken away and came and earned it back, he wasn't issued a pro model upon leaving the rehab facility.

Just read the interview, doesn't really sound like him at all. Really does make me think they edited the interview a bit. But it looks like Andrew and Erik are telling him to basically go the sober route the second he gets out which seems like a long shot. I mean this is prob the 20th time they've had this conversation, and of course Antwuans response is basically yeah you guys are right.........
