The non-trend that's actually a trend in itself of slim jeans and a blank or band t-shirt with some nondescript skate shoes?

I'm slowly realizing why I've only ever lurked the Slap message boards and rarely got involved in any discussions. Sometimes they're mildly enriching but most of the time I imagine it's just neckbeards talking shit like on any other internet message board. I'm nursing an injury. I didn't know what else to do, but now I'm beginning to regret my decision of joining these discussions. I'm gonna go draw pictures or something.

With the over abundance of all these up and comers killing it lately, personal flavor is playing a bigger role in whether or not you can "make it" in the industry. 

It's only a matter of time before "career coaches" start to pop up in the industry, giving the low down on what go to tricks aren't gay, as well as the latest in's and outs in skate fashion.  Any kid from the suburbs can be the next shawn powers if they play their cards right.

Skating with dreads, sniffing glue listening to Disrupt.  Be like the Alva posse all over again.

I don't remember power violence ever being a trend in skating. TNT did win a contest once and had Charles Bronson written on his griptape. Spazz is my all time favorite band though. well, maybe Infest.
