I cant listen to this anymore.

They try and distance themselves from skateboarding as a whole more and more and only focus on their own productions, events, what have you.

Its become a commercial and a vehicle to propel them to their coveted minor celebrity status.

i've noticed this for a while too. even people like Brink don't ever bring it up outside of here, but we all know that everyone from pros to tm's to industry insiders all lurk slap.

why is it so taboo to be in the skate industry and admit or talk about going on the slap boards?

all the latest news, rumors, videos, product, etc. is usually posted on slap first. what's the big deal with admitting that you browse the forum?
