you can find youtube videos (though a lot get taken down) of scientologists acting like clowns. its almost like this whole mental person population that think its ok to harass people, take their money(or give their money to the "church"). jason lee is the only person on their roster that doesnt seem to make sense. maybe the dudes a weirdo loner type, ive never met him. but if u go film the church, they haave security guards hired to come out and film you with their cameras (as if the person whos documenting the church could give two shits, it usually makes for good entertainment though. theres all kinds of famous news clips on crazy scientologists, interviews and shit, and i swear they all seem like the same kind of vapid person, with a mental disorder. i trip out on crazy southern baptist evangelicalists and shit, but this is on a WHOLE other level...

i was psyched to see he was pursuing the movie, but it got pushed back so much, i cant help but think the church had something to do with it, they obviously have pull with all the crazy celebs and politicians that either secretly or publicly declare theyre scinetoligsts

as far as jason lee's ex wife goes, every person who has pulled out of the church since the 90s, have suffered the same harassment by these mental midgets that they give to everyone, who doesnt want to cram church activity into every aspect of their life

If you want to work in the film industry, I think Scientology is like Nike... they suck, but they can do so much for your career that people are seduced.

Hell, it even says so in the article -

Deep in my heart I like to think that J. Lee is just taking them for a ride so he can become famous.

im a pta fanboy and trust i tried to force my self to fall in love with the master but the story lacked depth and character development and there wasnt any great dialogue to push the story along. the cinematography is bar none stunning. a piece of shit wrapped in gold is still a piece of shit.

My friend prank-called the Church in Los Angeles once.  Right whenever he got so close to "joining" he went, "Wait a second, but can Scientology explain how magnets work?"  I swear they must have called him back 20 times that day trying to harass him.

Some friends of mine, two brothers, were walking past the Church of Scientology London head quarters in Coventry Garden recently and after a day of drinking decided that they should take the church up on a free personality test. They finished the cans they were drinking and went in and were granted their wish. Needless to say they didn't take the testing as seriously as the church members would have liked them to and they were asked to leave. They couldn't believe they weren't allowed to stay and acted indignant until they were escorted out by security still wondering what the problem was. After they left they went and bought more beer and continued street drinking. I'm pretty sure they won't make it past the front door next time.

I love PTA's previous work, which is why I had such high hopes for The Master. The acting and cinematography was great, but the storyline just fell flat. I'll watch it again in the future but I still think his other work will rank higher.

That was a really good movie. It made its point. You can't say its a bad film just because it didn't have in it something specific you were looking for.

I feel like The Berrics is a Scientologist experiment since day one. The whole military theme is off putting to me. All of Berras fucking contrived paragraphs he writes. It's all very fucky. So glad it's not huge where I'm from. We have Church downtown and it's super fucking mysterious compound looking building.
