I am going to have a field day looking up some of these skaters, not familiar with a few of them.

I love it.  Sure lots of the tricks are gross, but if I wanted smooth steeze I could watch Penny or a bunch of other skaters.  When I watch Jason Park, I am watching it for fun.  Usually the process of exploring new tricks isn't pretty at first, but somebody's gotta (want to) do it.  Some days when I skate I do as many weird ass stupid tricks as I can with a smile on my face just to fuck with the try-hard kids all trying to do the same ollie/kickflip/grind.  I could out steeze the little bastards any day, but I want to teach them fun.

Hahahahah, thanks!  Yeah, that came out sounding a little lame.  But I love that soul of fun you know, like those old contest runs of Neil Blender and Jeff Grosso fucking around is so much better than anything.  Of course that said, those two made fun look stylish too so yeah, Jason Park nor I have anything on them, but you get what I am saying.

Even before i read the comments i was thinking Tim and Eric, Jeff Stevens, Gou Miyagi, Tilt Mode, Vics Market, ect. Theres plenty of dudes out there who do weird tricks and make "fun" parts. I like this guys skating, but i hate the way his edits are thrown together. Everyone i mentioned always has some goofy song and goofy editing and thats what makes those parts fun. Anything Jason Park is part of always has that "epic", "look at how unique this is" vibe, kinda like that freestyle dude Killian Martins footage. It just doesnt work. Dude needs a new filmer/editor.
