Nothing mean to say about the kid really. He's very good but at a weird age when everything kids do, including skate, looks awkward because they're constantly trying to adapt to physical changes. That aside though, he really did take a bunch of tricks that are near impossible to make look clean and do them all in one part. Mix in his awkward style and I can see why people didn't find it that appealing. It left me feeling conflicted.
I'm also a firm believer nobody should kickflip out of a front board, especially landing forward. Ever. He managed to make a kickflip out of a back board look decent though and I didn't think the last trick looked bad either and I usually hate seeing the rock-flip nonsense, no matter how hard it is.
