I have been told that mine is similar to Kerry Getz. Not sure if that is a good thing or not. I havent watched any of his skating in a long time.

A few people said Gino Iannuci for me. I don't think I do, but I'll take that as a compliment because I love Ginos style.

Someone once told me that I skated like dylan.
I was/am a pretty big dylan. boy, so I thought he was just making fun of me, but he said he meant it as a compliment in terms of pop and tricks selection and I was pretty psyched

I've gotten compared to Jimmy Cao the most by friends and randoms, but I think that's more just from me being an Asian regular footer than actually skating like him.

It's the observer in me that likes seeing whether people choose to deprecate, gloat, or just be honest. I think I started the thread with a pretty honest answer (and no one's going crazy over Dan Pensyl's style anyway). It's been interesting to see the responses from there forward.

Recognizing some similarities between your own style and someone else's isn't being pretentious. I don't think anyone in here is saying they're as good as the people they're comparing themselves to, it's just noticing little nuances n whatnot
