Hell yes, Piet Parra is sick.

Got the parking block deck when it came out, it looks great.

Haven't seen a deck in person, but Parras work is rad.

Is it a team for old guys?

He did a ton of art collabos for different companies and then decided to do a deck brand out of it.

Brad Staba made one reference to bronze in an ad (that Parra didn't do himself) and everyone nutted themselves over it.

If you like Parra's artwork it's not that bad but I don't like how they're trying to market it like it's krooked or something. They don't even sponsor skaters or do anything creative. If he was the second artist for 3d or something that would be pretty cool but as a standalone brand? Really?

I think the art is cool and I like the concept for the video; if they do a run of dvd's I'll probably buy one. I assumed it was Staba cashing in on the 'shaped' board thing.

attempt to be quirky/new/image conscious going slightly amiss and will eventually/soon be lost into awkward oblivion, like someone farting loudly in an elevator full of strangers.

i dig their ads. id say theyve been some of my favorites in thrasher recently. their graphics are decent, but if i were going to buy a shaped board, i think there are a bunch of options that are way sicker.

A lot of the older men I have sex with would definitely land in the "tired" category, so in a very literal way I am backing tired.

It's cool to see a Tired ad next to some 14 year old kid doing a nollie noseblunt down a 34 stair handrail.

I like the brand and Parra is an amazing person and super talented artist. Bummed it's under the skate mental / 3d / (Nike?) umbrella.

Bought a vans collab shirt he did years ago that I've alway dug but I don't know about a whole extra brand. Is anyone even on yet? Definitely agree with The 3d comment above though. I like 3d but most of it was what he did on the first run, really been digging this Gillette board with his dog walter as the graphic. But maybe I just like dog boards ( had janoksis board for liam back in the day)

My friend who only sleeps with older men with beards weighing 300+ lbs. skates a Tired.

i'm not sure that is the best analogy.  as someone who has farted in an elevator full of strangers, i found it was something that effectively grabbed people's attention, and managed to keep them focused on it, intently, for a good deal of time.   as opposed to something that flies under the radar

I like them in concept. Saw a board and didn't really personally like the idea of riding a tired old dude board, even if its pretty much a joke.

I really like laying silent farts in elevators. Similar to what Nallid is saying, shortly after I develop a disgusted look on my face and look into the eyes of all of my victims with a "was that YOU?!" look.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

Or is he saying that someone farting in an elevator will be "lost into awkward oblivion"- the same oblivion where they'll run into Tired.
