Gino of Chocolate?
« on: October 07, 2014, 04:32:32 PM »
Today both AVE and Bill Strobeck posted 101-era Gino with the hashtag #FAWorldEntertainment to their Instagram accounts. It could be some really misleading, kind of self-aggrandizing parallel that they're making between early '90s 101 and current day FA, but it's still kind of weird. Gino's always been close with Dill, and I could conceivably see Chocolate trying to focus even further on their young boys. Pretty wild, but I personally feel that it's a cool move if true.

Would be surprising but if he's trying to transition his life from a pro skater to some sort of job within the industry then doing some backroom stuff with FA (which i'd guess is based out of NY) would be much easier than trying to get a job like that with Chocolate or Nike SB whose companies are based out of the Westcoast. I really think we might of seen the last of Gino as a pro skater, there are no indications that he is filming for Chronicles 3. Maybe their planning a Chronicles 4 but it seems the only guys who haven't had a Chronicles part who aren't filming for Chronicles 3 are Gino, Malto, Mountain and P-Rod. Malto's coming off an injury, P-Rod has his own personal filmer and Mountain is a legend who will film a part in backyard pools rather than having to travel the world in search of spots. Gino's a legend, and if this helps him secure his future after skateboarding then good for him regardless on my feeling of FA as a company.

Are y'all seriously brain damaged?  They're just posting pictures of the old 101 Gino ads because they're cool and stuff...  It has no hidden fucking meaning.

It is? Who runs the company day to day? Would of thought alot of it was NY based considering it seems to be mostly ran by Dill.

Dill hasn't lived in NYC for at least a couple years now. He actually lives an alley away from Supreme LA
A dude named Jimi (who used to work at AWS) does the day to day stuff.

Would be cool if Gino was on FA and the gay rumors were true and he had graphics with tom of Finland drawings and dicks on them.

If gino retired he would work for crailtap. The posts are probably a reference to a promo FA is going to do soon or something.

can't believe Castillo is still on.

It has been said that they keep Castillo on so that every skateboarder in the world can still dream of ending up on Chocolate one day.

I'd bet he's retiring. A lot of Gino pics on Instagram this morning, whitely, bobshirt had a telling one.

Why would he retire though? He could just film some chill lines at skateparks and easy ledge spots and everyone would eat it up for as long as his style remains incredible.

I would rather watch Gino self asphyxiate whilst jerking off than the whole chocolate team skate.

skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit
