VERY hyped for this. hope it's a long series.
Back in the day I was super into Chocolate, as I got hispanic roots myself. actually I kinda miss the old hispanic Chocolate.

also I used to wear a chocolate beanie and a hoodie pretty often and the funny thing is, in France, a lot of guys thought it was referring to hash... a lot of guys came up to me because of that haha....

Tim Gavin, Daniel Castillo, and Eric Koston can go the fuck off. No one cares about any of your shit.

Koston was cool once, but now he is just a kook. Bye douche bag.

i remember when I started skating everyone would say that chocolate was the ethnic version of girl. i thought it was a joke but I guess even the riders felt that way a little bit.

i couldn't get into paco when i was younger because of all the skits, i hated having to scroll through it so I would delete the file and watch yeah right or mouse instead.

From the archives . . .

Paco was such a good kit, untouchable styles all-around & even a pretty good Ben Sanchez part [I will defend it over his Mouse part 100%].

Paulo & Gabriel definitely get the reiteration of the proverbial "special mention"[The tailslide over the Courthouse stairs always stood out].

Alas, relatively excited for part deux.

I never started caring about that stuff for years...but out of the gates I think they were different woodshops.....the way the graphics were screened even seemed different.....

It's been the same Woodshop though forever.....

U gotta be kidding me if you comparing them on a skate level. From the beginning of Chocolate til his injury filming for hot chocolate he probably put out the most footage of anyone on the team, all at a high level.

It sure was easy to 'make it' back in the early Chocolate days. Pretty basic tricks compared to what ams have to pull these days.

Pretty much. Looking back at street skating guys like Natas and Gonz weren't even good.

this is 100% accurate, i mean i would have totally been pro if i was born in 71

no way dude, he's right, I mean... look at all the legends these days, all they did were a few kickturns in the 70's and carved a bowl... bunch of bitch ass culeros if you ask me.

I dont know why.

I actually kind of agree with the Heyl comparison. I think because I always considered him like an average joe kinda skater. Nothing too magical would happen with him like other guys on the team that made me think what he did was impossible. It’s not bad really, even to this day his skating makes me feel like I can skate parallel to some of the 90's pro skaters. That and him usually always sounding obnoxious in front of the camera.

As 90s birdhouse series would have been far superior.

Are there really unanswered questions about Crailtap people care about?

See the Koston, Carroll, Beauty and the Beast, MJ, Henry, Kelch, Guy, Pops, Gino episodes.

I think people are pretty clear on the history of EMB O'Dell

Mike York was a clown but not a fucking CLOWN like Shane. I would've even defended Shane until that horrid "song" with TK the other week.
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

Yeah I really doubt they're going to cover any of that...  If they address any of it its just going to be shrugged off like "Yeah I got into some stuff blah blah"  I agree on the 90's Birdhouse idea tho..  Would love to hear about the type of shit Heath and Jeremy got in to and all the Ocean Howell girl stories.
