Every so often I will enjoy trying to overcome a janky quarterpipe or pushing myself on something imperfect on the street but mostly I'd rather ride something that I have to expend less effort and can do more tricks on.

I'd rather fight myself than the spot.

They're too damn smooth in my opinion! I can fakie bigspin manual on this dinky little pad in downtown but I go over to Benedict plaza and I can't even half cab manual the granite Pier 7-esque pad.

I prefer finding new spots over the regular hometown spots everyone knows about. When skating a new spot i find i'm more likely to just go for a trick rather then try and figure whats been done and all that bullshit... Bowls

The ground have to be a little rough for me to really dig the spot. Not too crusty obv, but I can't deal with super smooth ground. I feel like I don't have control when I'm skating a concrete park or something, everything just feels weird to me.
