Good idea for a thread that's probably been done at some point or another but fuck it.
What's our working definition of old?  Pre 2000 maybe?
Anyway, this Angelides part is 17 years old, and if it came out today, I'd still think it was pretty fucking sick.

and here's yours (something up with your link)

thanks hypnotoad!

im not up to par to get vids on here or I'd add a bunch.

I'm sure its been done before but fuck it. sometimes we forget some gems, or its just cool for the newer generations to see what we grew up with.

perfect example is what you posted!!! that video was fucked but I loved it. I always loved this dood his style is awesome and his switch game is crazy. My fave part in there was Chany, guy was just doing some real stylish fucked up ledge tricks back then.

and fuck yeah pre 2000 is good to me.

end novel... 411VM Profile - Andy Stone:

That part is almost entirely switch.  The things you miss as a kid.

I realized recently that Mike Maldonado's part in Welcome To Hell has a lot of the tricks that are trendy these days.
Feeble pop outs, wall rides, switch wallies, that crazy foot plant out of boardslide.  I know most people have seen it, but it's a classic.

oldmanepic: to embed don't use the youtu.be shortened links. use the full link, but start it at www, not at http. it'll embed automatically that way.

was just about post that!

(actually this whole video is amazing)

not to discredit ben cox's part (or keahne's for that matter) but aus already knew how good ben was. shane wallace came out of nowhere (well actually he was from NZ) and blew minds :o

crazy that this was 1998, still watch it all the time. I feel like Heath/Jeremy's and Andrew's parts have been done to death, so here's McCranker.

This was posted in a thread the other day but who cares, the first line alone stands up nearly 20 years later.

The recent EL prompted me to re-watch this.

And while not solo parts, these are some gems from the early and best days of 411:

I didn't remember the Philly section having such terrible music, my 13 y/o self probably thought it sounded ok.
