95a mini cubics.  They look horibly big but they perform and feel great.  Cab used to ride em.   I've been getting more into speed lines around the bowl type of thing. I think i'm kind of ollied out.  I've done a billion ollies and its fun to learn something new.   I have them with half inch risers and loose ass trucks and a 12 wide old schooler without concave.  I got a 9 inch indy in the back and a 8.75 venture in the front.

PS Stix quality control has been terrible since covid hit - here's my Scumco Evan Smith:
Half tapered, half square, with a huge dent in the middle.

Wow!

Great job on the fix though!!!

:)

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Yes totally!

I got two sets of the 56mm 97s, but yet to set them up - only arrived this week though so not a forgotten purchase sitting there with all the other stuff...

Yes that has happened before, going through a random box and thinking "When did I get that?!?" or something similar.

Let us know how these are. I got a lot of rough terrain around me and my 99a’s are too damn hard. I’m bailing on the damn asphalt.

I’m probably mental, but I’m contemplating getting either these or some Girl Smoke Session 80a for my popsicle.

Kids account for 50% of my bails. The other 50 is pebbles and rough terrain.

Just saw the emerica wino cup is up on the US site now. Pulled the trigger and got a free shirt from cinco de Mayo deal. I’m real stoked to skate them. I hope the cup option of the wino stays in for future seasons.

I wanted to try some PS Stix again. Got a Quasi 8.125. Wheelbase is 14.1 and Length is like 31.4. But now I know PS measures with the concave, so that's what I tell all the homies from now on.

Just got a funky looking crack (?) on the nose already. Worst case, this will be my rain/cruiser deck.

I bought this so I could have a classic birdman graphic for the collection, but I already know I need to buy another one, cause I'm gonna skate this shit.

@fs1/2cab

I made the lightsaber at Disney worlds galaxy edge. It was $200 dollars. And I know $200 is a lot for something  that’s just sits in my office, but it’s a whole experience. They take you in a cave and have like a elder do a spiel. There’s some lights and smoke and sound effects. I didn’t even want to do it, but it was my birthday present and I loved every part of the slightly cheesy experience.

My sister did that too. She was half cheesed out, half excited af. Wound up loving it though.

Not gonna lie. That sounds incredible to me. But I love Star Wars.

Okay, back to topic.

I got some Lakai Atlantic's. Anyone have experience with them? I have weak ankles and new shoes are always a nightmare for me.

Powell Brad McClain Tiger 2 Flight (243)
Deck Concave   K20
Deck Wheelbase   14.25"
Deck Length   31.95"
Deck Width   8.25"
Deck Nose   6.88"

This will be my first Flight, crazy how thin they are. Medium concave, semi-flat kicks.

Straye Zero Hi Tops

I sort of hate Straye as a brand, but I’m a fucking sucker for black suede Hi, The Chief, and a good deal ($35 shipped). Plus I have another pair of Straye I got for $20 and the skate better than my Vans Authentic Pros, so shrug.

Funny I just had the same thing happen to me with a Polar Dane1, and since they sell out everywhere I decided to just set it up. I reached out to the shop I got it from and they said something about how it was split ply and wouldn't be an issue, have to say that it hasn't been an issue yet, but I'm never doing anything crazy on the nose with that shape anyways. Slightly disconcerting though to see it lead almost directly to the top right screw hole.

If you live in a dry area it could be the wood drying out even more causing the crack.

It'll be fine as long as you remember to countersink the bolt in that hole as much as possible.  (Just kidding.)  I wonder if shooting some gorilla glue or something stiff drying in there to fill it would help?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this new mask. What do you guys think?
https://www.redbubble.com/i/mask/Gator-vision-skateboard-t-shirt-design-by-VintageSkate/62355138.9G0D8?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=g.pla+notset&country_code=US

I assume you're joking.

I can't believe Vision/Select Distribution still sells Gator shit.  I guess I'm even more surprised there's a market for it.
Enjoy your life.

Continuing to stock up on decks before my move to europe so I can feel like I saved money despite the cost of checking a board box probably cancelling out the increased cost of wood.

Boserio 8.625"
Dallas man 8.5"
shor west sticky face 10.34"

For the dudes interested in shor deck but want more comprehensive measurements, here they are:
Length: 30.5"
width (widest): 10.34"
width (front truck): 9"
width (back truck): 8.5"
WB: 14.75
nose: 5"
tail: 6.75
(margin of error is like a 1/8" because I found out my tailor's tape actually reads 3/16" short, but I tried to compensate)
