the skate his kinda feel like moon shoes to me, but that's probably because I was skating cons and LRs before this. Having some actually padding around the ankle was nice and they're very grippy; just generally felt really solid on my feet, which I attribute to the new insoles and tongue straps. Can't comment on the flick because my kick flips were fucked for the whole session because of the new shoe blues.

I love this shoe.

Hows the board feel on these? Im getting to the point with the thick tyshawn sole i need to start looking at other alternatives

All I hear is the Puigs feel great and I really look forward skating them. Have not skate them yet cause my Tyshawns are unbreakable.

Jumped on the Shin Sanbongi Oj mini combo's as soon as they dropped today, just happened to be lurking instagram right as Oj posted it. Been wanting a set of these in 58mm forever

I was super disappointed when I first put them on, but after wearing them around for a few days they felt really comfortable. The padding allows for the shoe to stretch out to your foot pretty well. Also, the durability of the Michelin outsole makes the break-in period all the more worth it.

They look excellent aesthetically IMO. I just ordered 2 pairs of 87A keyframes 56mm for rough street riding.
