Zebra... this is an honest to god question and I am in NO WAY criticizing your purchase... just trying to understand the allure with DoomSayers...

All they do is put out shirts/socks/crap with the same handshake logo... that's really it.  i don't understand what's so great about it.  it's a neat drawing and all, but i can't see why people would be excessively stoked on it unless you're the world's biggest Omar fan.

I like the logo, I like the other art they have. I like the clothes they're making. I like the look they have, or the aesthetic of the brand, if you will. The whole handshake with the snake biting the other hand, and how it came to be the logo cause of companies coming into the industry to try to make a buck and fucking guys over. I don't remember where I read that. I think it was in Omar's Jenkem interview.

Kinda ironic cause Omar rides for Nike, I know. Haha

I am a big Omar Salazar fan. He's from my area. He's supporting skateboarding out here. He hand delivers stuff to the local shops. Not a lot of companies are doing that these days. I also like how the brand is pretty small still. I personally hate wearing shit any kid can buy from Zumiez. Haha. Sounds lame, or hipster or whatever, but I know I'm not the only one. Haha

Taking no offense to your question.

Now, taking no offense to my question, what brands are you into??

I've done multiple 'anti-establishment' phases and man, if I had the skills these kidpros have these days I'd sell out in a hot minute; skating is over wicked fast these days, kids turn pro overnight and parts drop as quickly as they are forgotten, it's cash in time and you better hope you get enough to do your own thing and it sticks because most of those kidpros don't have the staying power the late 80's O.G.s did.

BCM hooked it up with the product. Thanks again. Magenta boards. venture 5.2, and set of 52m bones wheels(to small for me though). I broke down and got a set of Bronson bearings to try. New Gilbert Mids, which came with the Free DVD and sick book. Now if my hurt body could just turn backside I'll set the Soy Panday board up. 8.25. Maybe three more days...

So psyched to own these boards that came in today - from left to right, Rasa Libre Thunderbird board, Stacks Beetles series (all Reese Forbes models, small to large), and a Nate Jones Rasa Libre. Michael Leon was personally selling them to raise funds for a skatepark in Ojai, so I'm glad it was for a good cause.

Thanks! I've been a fan of Michael Leon since his Girl days, so it's great to have some of his boards.

Are those the 48mm? What was wrong with 42mm?

eyah i think 2 sets of 42 OJ are more than enough. we'll see how these 48's are and then i got some 54 spitfire something or another somewhere for when i realise this has all been too ridiculous.

after seeing a copy of Fucktards go for 90 a month ago, I was pretty much shitting in my pants when I won this auction for all the VHS Anti Hero videos.

what kind of fool would get rid of this stuff?
